The two MU students involved in last week’s cotton-balling of the Black Culture Center have apologized.
Freshman Sean Fitzgerald and Senior Zachary Tucker in a statement released by their lawyers expressed apologies to “each and every person who was hurt and offended by their actions.”
The statement went on to say Fitzgerald and Tucker plan to meet with organizations and individuals to personally express their remorse.
The two were arrested Monday morning and temporarily suspended from the university. Charges have not been filed. Neither student had a criminal record.
