International Mizzou academia give thought on US politics

By Titus Wu, Reporter & Pierce Porterfield, General Manager
With the upcoming election coming next Tuesday, the race between the two candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is coming down to the line. This past election has already been a crazy one, by American standards, especially with Trump who has defied and overturned many political norms and conventions. Yet, Pierce and Titus were curious about how people from other countries viewed this US election.
In the 1st piece, Titus interviews three international people from the University of Missouri: Hillary Tan, a Singaporean undergraduate exchange student; Ryan Thomas, a journalism professor from Wales; and George Chingarande, a Fulbright Scholar from Zimbabwe. Pierce and Titus discuss about clips from those interviews and about interesting insights regarding the international perspective of American politics.
This will be a series of short audio pieces revolving around the same three interviewees. Check back later for updates and new stories.
