MU Police are looking for tips after a man reported being robbed at gunpoint early Sunday on the MU campus.

Police say attackers robbed the man around 2:30 a.m. near the northeast corner of Conley Avenue Garage, taking his wallet and cell phone.

Police say they’re looking for two suspects, both black and 5’10” to 6 feet tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds, and wearing black masks covering the bottom half of their faces. Police say one of the males was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt. The other male was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. One of them carried a small, silver, semi-automatic handgun.

After the apparent robbery, the men ran south on Sixth St. toward Stewart Road, then turned west on Stewart.  The victim saw a white sedan driving fast from Sixth onto Stewart.

Police say the victim did not see the suspects get into the vehicle, but he believes the sedan’s driver may have been involved.
