Congress may have approved health care reform Sunday Night, with a vote split sharply along party lines.
But Missourians may not feel the full effects of the bill if an amendment passes the state senate.
The Missouri Health Care Freedom Act, passed by the House last week, would preserve the health care options already available to Missourians if passed by the senate.
Missouri was no exception to the partisan divide on the national bill. All five Missouri Republicans voted against the it Sunday Night, including Columbia’s representative. One Democrat also joined the congressmen voting “nay.”
