  • An Evening with the Portland Cello Project: Honoring the Compositions of Elliott Smith @ Rose, 7:30pm. The classically trained cellists of the Portland Cello Project are bringing their collaborative philosophy, while playing some Elliott Smith classics.
  • Paper Diamond @ The Blue Note, 9pm: Paper Diamond, is a one of a kind artist who brings his own unique music to the table, a sound unparalleled to anything else around today. His signature style combines memorable melodies, space-age synthesizers, catchy vocals, chops, glitches, and serious experimentation to create a rich listening experience. With gLAdiator and BUKU.

THURSDAY 2/26

  • ODESZA @ The Blue Note, 9pm: In 2012, Seattle production duo ODESZA began as a recording project between Harrison Mills (aka Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches) after graduating from Western Washington University. Their first release, Summer’s Gone, was a mixture of dreamy, sun trickled melodies, glitched out vocals, crunchy drums and large sweeping bass lines. With Little People and Big Wild.
  • 6th Annuel Mizzou Idol @ Missouri Theatre, 7pm: Watch talented Tigers compete in this year’s production of Mizzou Idol! Enjoy impressive musical performances, live voting and laughs from Comedy Wars.
  • MU Studio Jazz Band @ The Bridge, 7pm: Come out to support your fellow tigers!
  • MU Theatre presents The Whipping Man @ Rhynsburger Theater, 7:30pm: As the Civil War ends, a wounded Confederate soldier returns to find his plantation home in ruins, occupied by two of his family’s former slaves. Bound by history and the Jewish faith they share, the three men are forced to confront the changing social order as deeply buried secrets are revealed that could cost each of them their freedom.

FRIDAY 2/27

  • Ignition Showcase @ Maude Vintage, 8pm: Presented by Better Entertainment featuring local hip hop and rap artists Chef Noriego, DNA, Jarl, Veezo and Mic94 with sets from DJ Scales.
