  • Zach Deputy @ Mojo’s. 8:30pm. Deputy’s show transforms clubs and open fields alike into sweaty dance parties for fans of R&B, soul, jam, Caribbean music and even electronica.

WEDNESDAY 10/22

  • MU4MikeBrown Benefit Concert @ Cafe Berlin. 7pm: October 22nd is the National Day of Action against police brutality, repression, and the criminalization of a generation. Join MU4MikeBrown as they demand justice for all bodies through a revitalizing night of live music and poetry. All funds will be donated to the Lost Voices, a youth organization committed to being a non-violent conduit of social change in their community and everywhere else throughout the United States. Don’t miss this!
  • Scattered Hamlet / Cinder Block / Perceiving the Design @ Mojo’s. 9:30pm: If anything, come out to this show to experience the sound of “honky tonk metal.”
  • Tamagawa / Oldine @ The Bridge. 8pm: Some very cool French bands that are coming through Columbia.

  • Typesetter / All Eyes West / Paper Ceilings / Beast Wishes @ Cafe Berlin. 9pm: Two great Chicago punk bands touring through Columbia on their way to The Fest in Gainesville playing with some great locals. Don’t miss it!
  • Whiskey Shivers / The Kay Brothers @ Mojo’s. 9pm: An awesome night of bluegrass that will have you stompin’ your feet.
  • A Life Celebration for Tara Tipton @ The Bridge. 8pm: With Don’t Mind Dying, The Flood Brothers, Jenny Teator & The Fevers. Join The Bridge in celebrating the life of Tara Tipton. At the request of her family, all door proceeds and a percentage of bar sales will go towards a savings account for Tipton’s grandchildren.
