The No. 20 Missouri Tigers lost their third-straight SEC game last night against the Georgia Bulldogs, 80-70, in Athens, Georgia. 
It was once again a disappointing finish for the Tigers, as they held a strong lead for most of the second half. The team once again faltered on the offensive end, leading to a huge string of points scored by Georgia. Once Georgia pulled ahead, it never looked back. 
The Tigers led by 13 points in the second half, playing their second straight game without star big man Jeremiah Tilmon. Then, Georgia went on a huge 25-7 run in the middle of the second half to pull ahead. 
The Tigers were led by Kobe Brown who, in Tilmon’s absence, had a lot of good looks underneath the basket and took advantage of them. Once again though, it was the poor shooting from downtown that did the Tigers in, as they shot 6-26 from 3 point range in this contest. 
Foul trouble was an issue tonight for Missouri too, as the Bulldogs were in the bonus seven minutes into the second half. 
The disappointing string of games continues for the Tigers, and they just have not looked like the same team since the second half of the game against the Alabama Crimson Tide, where Missouri almost blew a 22-point lead in the second half.

Missouri will have a chance to bounce back when the struggling South Carolina Gamecocks come to Mizzou Arena on Saturday afternoon. Mizzou defeated South Carolina 81-70 back on January 19.
