Heyo! My name is Owen Brock aka DJ Yung Filthy. My show is from 6-8 p.m. every Tuesday, and I co-direct the blog with Elena Cruz, aka DJ Mom. I’m a sophomore English student from St. Louis. When I’m not writing or editing Pulitzer Prize-worthy editorials or listening to music, I enjoy running, reading and playing video games. Currently my favorite albums are The Velvet Underground’s self titled, Thundercat’s “Drunk, “D’angelo’s “Voodoo,” Princess Nokia’s “1992 Deluxe” and Wun Two’s “Seasons.”
What’s good internet denizen, my name is currently Cousin Trent, and I host the Lounge @ Lunch on Tuesdays from noon-2 p.m. My real name also happens to be Trent (McRae), but as far as stage names go, I have too many to count. My show is bit of everything really: Entertainment, news, politics, cooking, arguments over random topics with random people, talking about that one time I accidentally went to space, and of course, music. I tend to play hip-hop and R&B, but over the course of a show I’ll dabble in whatever genre or theme I please. You’ll probably hate one or all of my opinions.
As about me, I’m from a place, I’m studying a topic and I like activities.
Artists I’m Bumping: MF DOOM, Kanye West, Daft Punk, Jonwayne, Saba, bLAck pARty, etc.
DJ Cingular/DJ JD (Jury Duty)/DJ Ticonderoga
What up, I’m DJ Cingular aka DJ Ticonderoga aka DJ JD (Jury Duty) aka David Colton. I like long walks on the beach with horses, but I walk next to them because I respect them. I’d be fine with going on walks with mules too, as long as it’s on the beach. Anyway, I spin indie rock for the most part, and I usually do 10-15 crunches in the studio throughout my show, but that’s just on like a normal day, so it’s not a big deal or whatever. Regardless, I love having special guests on the air to talk about good music and ridiculous politics and whatnot. Oh, and I’m a cool guy.
Hi I’m Mary, but to you I’m DJ Danger. In reality I am a very mild person and not dangerous at all. I’m a sophomore at MIZ studying Textile and Apparel Management. I love music, sustainability, cats and watching T.V. (in that order). My friend TBD and I love to spin those hot new tracks on our show called The Current, which is from noon to 2 p.m. Fridays.
Artists I’m into: Kyle Craft, St. Vincent, Bowie, Princess Nokia, Beat Happening, of Montreal
Salutations. I report under the aliases of DJ FloJo and SwissgEAR. My second government name is Will Udo, I can’t tell you the first one because that’s a liability. I hail from the tumbleweed-outskirts of Northern Texas. I spend most of my leisure time surfing 13th dimensional wavelengths as well trying to find the most smoothing sensational tracks that my ears can get a hold of. My show, Southern Slang with Will & Steven, is on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. with the homie Steven Colaianni. It’s pretty sonically pleasing, you should tune in sometime (please, we’re quite desperate at this point).
Current/Favorite Artists: Common, The Roots, Erykah Badu, Masego, NxWorries, Nai Palm, John Coltrane and James Blake.
Hey there, my name is Mollie, also known as DJ Ginkgo, and I’m from good ol’ STL Missouri. I’m studying chemical engineering here at Mizzou while also completing my pre-med requirements and dreaming of minoring in art history and archeology. Being a DJ has been a pipe dream of mine since I was little, and I’m trying to complete as many of my pipe dreams as possible before I get sucked into the life-drain that is a career in the medical field. In my free time I like to read, play french horn and ukulele, grow (kill?) plants, collect coffee mugs, run, and sing. I’m currently listening to Japanese Breakfast, Daniel Caesar, Manchester Orchestra, SALES, etc. Tune in to my show Sunday Reverie on Sunday mornings, 10 a.m. to noon!
Heyo, this is ur man Healthcare, AKA lil zaddy, AKA DJ Boozy Floppy Disk. I like to play deep jazz and soul cuts every Tuesday morning at 9am. My favorite musicians include Mndsgn, Teebs, Bill Evans and D’Angelo. In my spare time I like to make hot beats and record other people’s hot musical ideas.

I am currently a junior at the university, majoring in journalism. Artists I’m listening to right now are Jhene Aiko, Sabrina Claudio and SZA.
“Ayyy lmao” what’s up kids! My name is Lena Howard or DJ Lean; I haven’t really thought of a clever DJ name yet. I’m a junior here at good ole’ Mizzou studying textile and apparel management while pursuing a minor in business and entrepreneurship. I’ve had a small interest in being on the radio since I was a kid, so this is kind of like a small dream come true, lol??? I’m from the South Suburbs of Chicago, and most of interests are very reflective of the creative scene in the city. In my free time, even when doing something important, I am always listening to music and discovering new artists. I also enjoy (not really) window shopping when I’m broke, going to concerts, art museums/shows and other “artsy” tings. I need new friends so hit me up so we can go to concerts and hang out (: You can catch me, with the other half of Caramel Macchiato, Trina Quach a.k.a. Trina Rager, on Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. We’re here to provide you with smooth, or t’d, midday tunes. My music taste is all over the place, so a few artists I love are: Freesole (local Chicago collective, check us out!!), J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Yeezy, Flume, Tyler, the Creator, A Tribe Called Quest, Sabrina Claudio, Sade, The Temptations, Coldplay, Rex Orange County (sorry this is a lot) and so much more!

I’m also a senator for the Legion of Black Collegians as well as a member of the Washington Society. Come catch me on my show, Black and Yellow, on Wednesdays 8 to 10 p.m. (prime freaky hours) with the homegirl Amelia McEntire. We’re fantastic I promise.

Hey y’all! As redundant this may be, my name is Trina aka DJ Rager. I’m from STL, USA, home of the best chinese food and Red Hot Riplets. My major is textile and apparel management with minors in business and entrepreneurship. I joined KCOU to meet other people who share the same passion for music as much as I do. Outside of school and KCOU, I am a fashion photographer. I love creating visual content for designers and fashion bloggers. At the moment my favorite artists are PinkCaravan!, BROCKHAMPTON, Kid Cudi, Rico Nasty and Kanye West.
Come jam with Lena and I on sundays from noon to 2 p.m.
Greetings loved ones, let’s take a journey: I’m DJ Sharkie, I’m a freshman at this fine institution and when I’m not spinning discs at KCOU on Sunday mornings from 10 to noon, I’m probably thinking about petting a dog.
A few of my favorite artists currently are Rex Orange County, Sufjan Stevens, Beach House, HOMESHAKE, and Mac DeMarco.
How you doing? Dr. sm00th here! Your one and only source into the ambitious lives of Mizzou’s elite at KCOU. I’m the host of SmackDown Radio, and I’m driven to bring you the best of up and coming new music on the rise while entertaining everyone on board with Team Stay sm00th, every Monday from 2-4 p.m., so please tune in. If you’d like to learn more about what I listen to, tune in to my late night show that I co-host called “When Worlds Collide” every Thursday morning from 12-2 a.m.! What you can know about me is I’m a journalism major from Hell’s Kitchen, New York, right in the heart of Manhattan. My DJ name can change by my mood. If I’m swag, Dr. sm00th sticks with me (also shortened to “The Doc”), and If I’m feeling opinionated, then I transform into The Beast from the East. If I’m feeling chill, well there’s a reason why I got class like Chuck Bass! As you can tell, I’m fond of Gossip Girl, but I also like anime, reality and fantasy TV shows. I can keep my cool during discussions but be prepared to debate if you ever bring up Star Wars. My music tastes range all across the rock spectrum, but my comfort zone lies with the emo category. I’m the sole representative of the emo scene here at KCOU and my genres range all across punk, metal, classic and hard rock music. My other hobbies include playing guitar and not being afraid to wear pink! Well that’s enough about me. I’ve done my job in telling you what I do, now you’re job is to figure out who I am. That’s one secret I will never tell. You know I’m emo,
Artists I’m listening to right now: Palaye Royale, Greta Van Fleet, In This Moment, Knuckle Puck and Steel Panther
Hey y’all, I’m EU aka European Union aka Elizabeth Ustinov and I hail from southern Missoura (I was born in upstate New York and have been forced to assimilate into cowboy culture – yikes). I’m majoring in strategic communications (not journalism) at MU because the news is a snooze am I right. I love drawing, hiking, traveling, bad jokes and singing horribly off key to some sick beats. I co-host Alleged Drama Mamas with my pal LutyB.Loko on Thursdays 8 to 10 p.m. So tune in if you want to hear us argue about Radiohead or talk about dank memes.

The Holy Minister
Everyone good? Cool. Yeah it’s me, The Holy Minister aka Ashwini Mantrala, infiltrating your airwaves since ’15. Might remember me from my buffoonery on the 2K16 edition of KCO-New, and currently giving you your mid-morning stimulation (in a totally nonpartisan way, get your mind out the gutter) on Coffee in the Morning, Mondays 9 to 11 a.m., with my partner-in-crime, the god Lord Mesmerise. I’m currently trying to navigate how to be a curator without having a decent Snapchat while also studying Economics and Communications, so hit me if you got clout. The path’s different for all of us, just gotta figure out how to walk it sometimes. My rotation mostly consists of Taio Cruz deep cuts, but if that somehow isn’t doing it for you: Jay-Z, Heems, Vijay Iyer, Lata Mangeshkar, Sade, Slowdive and Pharrell. Good stuff.
??? each Wednesday 10 p.m. there are three people on this show none of them have diabetes.
