  1. Los Angeles Rams (from TEN) – Jared Goff, QB, California

This is the most obvious pick of the draft so far. LA gave up six picks for this one right here, and with it they’re going with the home-state top QB in the draft in Jared Goff.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles (from CLE) – Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State

Speaking of trading up, the Philadelphia Eagles traded up from 13 to 8, and then to this spot at 2. With this pick I’m giving them Carson Wentz. Not the most pro-ready QB but has tons of potential and could be the best QB in this class in a few years, if developed correctly.

  1. San Diego Chargers – Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State

The team happiest about the top two trades? The San Diego Chargers, who now have their pick at whatever non-QB they want, and they’re going with the best player in the draft in Jalen Ramsey, who can do anything in the secondary. Immediately replaces Weddle in the secondary and is a playmaker this team sorely needs

  1. Dallas Cowboys – Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

The Dallas Cowboys may have eyes for Ez-Z, but here they’re taking the best pass-rusher in this class in Joey Bosa from Ohio State. With the suspension for Randy Gregory, Bosa immediately replaces him and becomes a force on the Cowboys line.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida

The Jaguars made lots of moves in free agency, mainly addressing defense, which they’ll continue to do in this draft. With this pick, the Jags grab the best man corner in this draft in Vernon Hargreaves III. Put him opposite Prince Amukamara and suddenly the Jags have a fearsome secondary.

  1. Baltimore Ravens – Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

Once thought as the surefire #1 overall pick, Tunsil’s stock dropped purely because of the two top trades. The Ravens get the best offensive lineman on the board to protect Flacco, who’s coming off an ACL tear.

  1. San Francisco 49ers – Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

Ronnie Stanley has been getting love from the media in the days leading up to the draft, and some believe he’s even the top tackle in the draft. Here, the 49ers get a franchise tackle to replace Joe Staley when he retires.

  1. Cleveland Browns (from MIA via PHI) – DeForest Buckner, DL, Oregon

This draft makes the Cleveland Browns look like absolute geniuses. Trade back to 8, pick up a lot of quality picks from the Eagles, and take one of the draft’s best players in versatile Oregon defensive lineman DeForest Buckner.

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky

The first surprise of the draft, the Bucs take a gamble on a man with tons of talent and loads of potential but lots of red flags in the former Ohio State edge rusher Noah Spence.

  1. New York Giants – Leonard Floyd, LB, Georgia

One of the biggest beneficiaries of the combine, Georgia LB Leonard Floyd has had his name skyrocket up draft boards and here he is now, going #10 overall to the New York Giants who are supposedly in love with him. This pick was originally Myles Jack, but changed due to concerns about Jack’s knee injury. This also marks the third year in a row the Bears’ ideal pick goes the pick before them (Aaron Donald in 2014 and Leonard Williams in 2015)

  1. Chicago Bears – William Jackson III, CB, Houston
  2. New Orleans Saints – Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
