Jay Rock recently released two new singles; the first of these titled “Parental Advisory,” was released about two weeks ago, making it Jay Rock’s first solo single to surface in a long while.

The second, “Pay For It” was released just this week and features Chantal and Jay Rock’s Label Jay Rock belongs to the California based label, Top Dawg Entertainment, which boasts other artists like Isaiah Rashad, SZA, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, and of course Kendrick Lamar. Jay Rock was actually one of the original members on the label and was also the first artist to drop a studio album (Follow Me Home) on the label. To say the least, he paved the way for all the other artists on the label rise to the forefront of the hip hop scene.

Jay Rock is one of the more overlooked members on the label. For example, his song, “Pay For It,” was featured in a recent Beats commercial, however, only Chantal and Kendrick Lamar’s contributions to the track are heard. Below is the full version of the song, which showcases Jay Rock’s undeniable talent.
