A League of their Own
Wednesdays at 8 am
“A League of Their Own” is an exclusively female, baseball-focused talk show hosted by Liz Aber and Emma Hayes. Tune in every Wednesday morning for discussions on anything from the latest trade news to how prospects are shaping up. Anything and everything across the MLB is up for grabs and, come spring, Mizzou baseball joins the conversation as well. Chances are, you’ll always be able to catch us talking about the St. Louis Cardinals or the New York Yankees any day, so, if you’re a fan of those teams or just love baseball in general like we do, listen to “A League of Their Own.”

Weekly Walkthrough

Sundays at 11 am

The Weekly Walkthrough is an hour long show which airs every Sunday morning at 11 AM, hosted by Ethan Salm and Nick Catlin. The show started in the fall of 2018 and is now in its second season. Nick and Ethan discuss major topics in sports that happened across the world from the past week. The show focuses on the sports world as a whole. The most discussed topics include NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, NBA, NFL, MLB, UFC, Premier League, and Champions League. Preferred Walk-Ons

Fridays at 4 pm

End your week with Preferred Walk-Ons- Mizzou’s most insightful sports talk from your favorite benchwarmers. Host Ben Krakow, lead analyst Chase Phillips and producer Garrett Jones chime in with their views on the latest on Mizzou sports, NCAA football, men’s and women’s basketball, and all four major professional sports. Every show finishes with our title segment ‘Get it off your chest,’ a time to blast what’s driving them crazy in sports over the air waves. They’re online on every major streaming service including Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and on Twitter @KCOUWalkOns.

Quarter Circle Backboard

Mondays at Noon

Quarter Circle Backboard is a solo show hosted by Chris Mitchell every Thursday morning. Most days the show is split up into three chunks, with video game-related content, whether it be about video games that Chris is playing at the moment, big video game-related news, or eSports tournaments, sandwiched in between either college football, baseball, NFL, or basketball-related segments. You may even be able to find the occasional guest spot on QCB if you’re lucky, and potentially some interviews with people from around the world of sports and eSports. You can also listen to QCB on Spotify, Anchor, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

General Admission

Mondays from 4 to 5 pm

Tune in on Monday afternoons and listen to close friends Reid McEowen and Jacob Murphy give their opinions on whatever is going on in the sports world on General Admission. If you are interested in everything sports this is the show for you. Every week Reid and Jacob will go over scores, schedules, breaking news and much more. In the fall, the two will banter about their NFL and college football opinions, while in the winter and spring they will talk about their favorite topic; the NBA. Jacob and Reid’s chemistry makes General Admission worthy of a listen, so make sure to tune in and make the worst day of the week a little better.

One of these Nights

Sundays at 5 pm

Join sports director Garrett Jones for a solo sports history, podcast-style talk show that delves into the weird, wacky and noteworthy in every collegiate and major professional sport.

Breakfast of Champions

Thursdays at 9 am”Coming in Spring of 2020 & the year of 2020 for that matter… same show… the same crazy duo… same morning dose of sports… different time and different day. Welcome to the Breakfast of Champions, hosted by sophomores Keegan Hartman & Brandon Antony. For a year now, the Breakfast of Champions has been delivering nothing but “grade A” entertainment, with the best tandom in the business. Coming at you LIVE on Thursday mornings @ 9AM, Keegan and Brandon get you caught up to speed with EVERYTHING sports, from your headline news with segments like “the Fresh Brew” to rants that leave lasting impressions, and occasionally involve controversial takes, with the “Antony Rant”, the Breakfast of Champions has it ALL!! The Penalty Box

Tune in to The Penalty Box KCOU 88.1 fm from 8-9am Tuesday mornings. Each week, Peter Kamp and Jack Knowlton’s give their thoughts and analysis on the latest news and scores from across the sports world. Plus stay tuned in for each weekly special guest to provide their own insights and play The Penalty Box at the end of each show!

The Rebuildables

The Rebuildables is a weekly podcast hosted live 11 am- 12 pm every Wednesday with host Gerald Hopkins. Every week is a deep dive into some of the teams at the bottom of the table, not in the playoff race, and looking for a way back to the top. Every episode looks into how each team found their way at the bottom, and how can they return to glory. Every episode is also now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, search “The Rebuildables Podcast”, and check out the twitter page @TheRebuildables for weekly updates of which teams will be featured and other content.

Murphy’s Law

Murphy’s Law is the place to go when you are in need of what is going on in the NBA world. From power rankings to predictions, Jacob Murphy will fill you in on everything going down in the association that week and the upcoming weeks. Each show will contain something different, some weeks there will be team by team analysis and some weeks will focus in on a few major stories depending on the news. Make sure to listen every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 and you will not be disappointed.
