Mick Jenkins – Smoking Song (feat. BADBADNOTGOOD) (SMOOTH)

The last song off of Mick Jenkins’ new album is perfectly titled. Opening up with a smooth bass line and flourishing woodwinds, he creates a rich jazz vibe right off the bat. Combined with his voice, which adds to the intimacy of the song, Jenkins transports the listener to a warm smoking lounge, providing a cozy and cool mood for the beginning of November.

Homeshake – Like Mariah (SEXY BASS)

Homeshake’s newest single release, “Like Mariah,” is a sneak peak into his newest project, “Helium.” The song delivers a *sexy* synth bass line and the broad vocal range Homeshake is known for, and it leaves the listener excited to hear the rest of the upcoming album.

Angel Du$t – Take Away the pain (POP PUNK)

Hardcore band Angel Du$t released singles that are less hardcore and more pop-punk with the better being the b side single “Take Away the pain.” The saxophone oddly works perfectly with the rapid drumming, melodic guitar and the loving lyrics.
