Missouri
The Tigers are 2.5 point favorites heading to Boston, to take on the Eagles of Boston College. However, look for the Tigers to have a long flight home to Columbia as Boston College is no joke. Losing Phil Jurkovec has the potential to ruin Boston College’s hopeful season, but this is still a very talented team. If they can take advantage of the Tigers weak front seven and slow down Tyler Badie, the Eagles may be soaring to an undefeated record entering ACC play.
Wisconsin
The Badgers are coming off a bye week to recover and prepare for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. And while neither team has looked exceptional this season, it is still a high level match up. The headline of the game is what quarterback will hurt their team less, Graham Mertz or Jack Coan. Both quarterbacks have played for the Badgers in the past which adds more excitement to the game at Camp Randall. When it comes to head to head, look for the experience that Coan has over Mertz to be the deciding factor for the Irish to squeak out a victory on the road.
Texas A&M
A tricky game to try and predict, the Aggies looked better last week, still recovering from Haynes King’s injury. They will be looking to stay in rhythm as they open up SEC play with a tough opponent in the Arkansas Razorbacks. Arkansas is led by their defense and was able to shut down offensive mastermind Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns a couple of weeks ago. Look for the Razorbacks to key in on the run and force the Aggies to beat them through the air. This could spell a lot of trouble for A&M, seeing them flying back to Texas with their first loss of the season.
Clemson
This may seem the least likely out of the four teams on this list, however, the Tigers have not started their season off on the right foot. Against FBS opponents, Clemson has scored a total of 17 points in two games and when facing an N.C. State team that has a high octane offensive potential, they might need to turn it on this weekend. If not, the Tigers defense will not be able to carry their offense at some point and they could lose another game, which might be this weekend.
