COLUMBIA. Mo – Kickoff for Missouri Football’s game against Louisiana has been moved from 3 p.m. to 12 p.m.
The matchup between the No. 25 Tigers and the Ragin’ Cajuns, originally scheduled for 3 p.m. CST, is reportedly being rescheduled due to weather concerns.
Temperatures are expected to reach 95 degrees around 4 p.m., which would have landed right around the second quarter had the game stayed on its original schedule. With dry conditions and little cloud cover, the move was made to start the game three hours earlier, where kickoff temps will likely be in the high 80s.
The two carriers of the game, ESPN+ and SECN+, will go on with the coverage as anticipated, per PowerMizzou.com
The contest will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
The Tigers, 2-0 thus far in 2025, will look to start the season 3-0 for the third consecutive season as they take a the Ragin Cajuns team coming off of a 2024 Sun Belt championship.
The Cajuns are 1-1 on the year, taking down FCS side McNeese State last week following a 14-12 loss to Rice in week one, which took many by surprise.
Missouri sits as a 27.5 point favorite over the Group-of-Five opponent, who has a true freshman in Daniel Beale under center following the loss of former LSU and Ole Miss transfer QB Walker Howard in the first game of the season.
