‘Canyon on Fire’, by Jack Tatum’s Wild Nothing, is a sonically beautiful and dense ode to L.A. Backed by layered synths, a solid guitar riff and with etherial sounding reverb, Tatum contemplates the American Dream’s end game as he sees it up in the Hollywood Hills. ‘Canyon on Fire’ is arguably the best cut off of Wild Nothing’s fourth studio album, Indigo, but the whole album deserves a listen.
