Takeoff – Last Memory (SEAMLESS)
The “mute of the Migos,” Takeoff, has announced that “The Last Rocket” will land on Nov. 2. Along with the announcement, Takeoff released the single “Last Memory” a melodic, yet choppy tune that displays his ability to weave seamlessly throughout verses with assistance from his ad-libs.
Robyn – Ever Again (HYPNOTIZING)
It’s been eight years since Robyn’s album release, the “Body Talk” trilogy. The Swedish pop star has finally come out with a new record “Honey,” enriching the electro-pop scene and elevating our listening experience. Its last track, “Ever Again,” will send you into a dreamlike trance and hypnotize you with soothing synths, a groovy baseline and lyrics that declare invincibility.

Lala Lala – Destroyer (HEAVY)
“Destroyer,” the introductory track to Lala Lala’s new album “The Lamb,” is certainly a juxtaposition of name and actuality. The song pairs mellow guitars in the verses to a contrasting “heavier” vocal melody in the chorus, which shapes up to a played out-sound, and leaves destruction pretty far out of mind.
The artist, however, takes these vocal phrases to her advantage by surprising the listener with melodic structures that are unfamiliar and somewhat enjoyable. The intrigue of the vocals paired to the familiarity of the indie-rock form creates a seemingly average, yet captivating sound that undoubtedly warrants her newest album a listen.

Ty Segall – Pretty Miss Titty (ELOQUENT)
The reigning champion of psychedelic garage rock, Ty Segall, is back with a new album, “Fudge Sandwich.” It is a cover album, yet he takes all the songs in his own unique way. “Pretty Miss Titty” is a cover of an early Gong record by the same name. This is the busy rocker’s sixth project — with two limited-run cassettes, two solo albums and two albums he colluded on — released this year, and he has already announced a collaborative album”Pleasure Seekers,” which he has worked on with his wife under the name C.I.A.
