Missouri turned their second game of the day into a home run derby. The Tigers scored six runs in the first inning, with home runs from Brooke Wilmes, Kara Daly, Alex Honnold and Kendyll Bailey.
Take it into the bottom of the second and Kimberly Wert hit a two-run homer that made its way well out of the stadium. Into the third another home run from Hatti Moore, her first of the season. To top things off, as the final home run freshman Julia Crenshaw hit her first collegiate bomb.
That come to a total of seven home runs all within five innings. Wert sits two home runs away from breaking the all-time Missouri record.
A key figure to the team was freshman Kara Daly. She has set a tone hitting a home run in three back-to-back games. The Jefferson City native went 3-for-5 on the day with five runs batted in.
Missouri kept momentum going in both games to take their fourth run rule win of the season and reach a 14-4 record.
