Ever since the popularity of their Single “New Biome,” released in 2016, Sure Sure’s first full-length album has been eagerly awaited. Released earlier this year, the album exhibits the band’s wide range of styles, from the pop-funk “Hands Up Head Down” to the smoother indie rock of “Solstice Song”. The clear, ambient guitar chords of the latter pull you into the song immediately, leading you through the rolling hills of the musical landscape. The song really shows off Chris Beachy and Charlie Glick’s perfectly blended harmonies, which are featured throughout the album. On their first tour, the band just passed through Columbia and put on a great show at The Blue Note, opening for Hippo Campus.
