MorMor, a Toronto-based singer and producer, has released his new track, “Heaven’s Only Wishful.” Accompanying a beautiful self-directed video is a chilled, melancholic song about the city of Toronto that transitions into an ode to synth pop. From an interview with Pigeons & Planes, he describes the song as his way to express Toronto as more than the city that we traditionally know. There’s no true genre that this song falls into, but that doesn’t matter. As he says in the song, “Close your eyes and see it through.”
