Courtney Barnett – Nameless, Faceless (SEARING)

By Carter Phillips

In the lead single off of her upcoming album Tell Me How You Really Feel, Courtney Barnett delivers a searing address to her internet “critics.” She spends most of the peppy track going back and forth from pitying these sad men to just laughing at the absurdity of their complaints and arguments all the while pointing out the much larger issues that women face. This biting critique makes it clear how insignificant these people are to her, while painting a picture of the sad and lonely men hiding behind a screen.
