James Blake’s new single takes a welcome departure from his previous works. “If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead” is dark and disorienting, with jumpy, pitched vocals and a rich baseline. This track is challenging – even jarring at first – but the complex production will capture the listener and become a repeat favorite.
