In case you forgot about what it was like to be an angsty teen, Jeff Rosenstock is out here reminding us that the punk dream is alive and well. “All This Useless Energy”, the fourth track off Rosenstock’s new album POST-, hits you with a wall of sound and makes you also want to hit a wall. His combination of swampy guitars and heavy distortion sounds somewhere between Pinkerton and Blink-182. It’s some of the most listenable power pop in recent memory.
