The Missouri Tigers (24-9) beat down the Arkanas-Pine Bluff Lions (9-22) by a score of 13-1 on Tuesday night at Taylor Stadium. The win made it three in a row for Steve Bieser’s ball club.

Mizzou junior Andy Tolken went the distance only surrendering two hits while striking out seven batters. The righty Tolken (2-1) allowed three runners on base the entire game an took a no hit bid into the sixth inning before it was broken up by a pair of doubles which yielded the Lions their only run of the contest.

The Tigers lineup piled together 13 runs on 14 hits from 9 different players. Freshman outfielder Kameron Misner starred, going 3 for 3 with 4 RBI. Junior outfielder Trey Harris extended his hitting streak to six games with a three run HR over the right center field wall in the 8th inning. The Powder Springs, GA native made it three straight games with a HR after going deep on Friday and Saturday against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Coach Steve Bieser’s club will go for their fourth straight victory Wednesday afternoon as they take on AUPB once again at Taylor Stadium.

Redshirt Sophomore Liam Carter (1-0) is expected to take the mound for the Tigers tomorrow. First pitch is scheduled for 4 PM.
