Wavehouse – Purple Pyramid (REMINISCE)

By Alex Hyslop

Wavehouse is a new artist from Chicago, IL who experiments with a variety of beats and hypnotic sounds in his new album Swirl World that resonates with Frank Ocean’s Blonde, and Tyler, The Creator’s Flower Boy. “Purple Pyramid” confronts isolated feelings that many identities struggle with accepting. Wavehouse carefully chooses the lyrics in “Purple Pyramid” so the listener can reminisce with an uplifted spirit from a beat that revs up a past that has allowed one to face the journey of ascending to a higher version of oneself.
