Kitten hasn’t garnered a significant amount of attention in its 4 years of existence. However, the Californian dream pop group, lead by Chloe Chaidez, has opened for big acts like No Doubt and, most recently, Charli XCX and has even received attention from Nylon, Spin, and Rolling Stone.
Even after releasing three solid EPs the band still hasn’t received the attention it deserves. If you’re a fan big vocals, bangin’ synths, and heavy guitars you probably want to check out Kitten. The band just released their 3rd EP, Like A Stranger, in August. FIDLAR fans may also be interested to know that Zac Carper, Elvis Kuehn, and Max Kuehn were all originally members of Kitten before fully committing to FIDLAR.

Editors Note: “Writers Pick” is a part of our New Music Tuesday. This segment lets a writer pick an act they think people should know more about and give them a quick introduction. We’ll also be mixing in full reviews, features, and pieces about local and regional acts. If you have any suggestions or submissions send them to firstname.lastname@example.org –Elle
