“Cool Your Heart”, the last single from Dirty Projector’s self-titled album, is a change in direction for the band, being the first release since the breakup with their ex-guitarist and vocalist Amber Coffman. Co-written with Solange and featuring D△WN, the track has a different feel, a lighter and brighter approach. Having a very sporadic and layered beat, the track seems to have a million different things going on at once, but at its very core is so real and introspective.
